Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs, Tea Tsulukiani and First Deputy Culture Minister Kakha Sikharulidze met French Ambassador to Georgia Diego Colas. The sides discussed future cooperation plans.

Tea Tsulukiani informed the Ambassador about her upcoming May 20 visit to Leuville Estate that was officially conveyed to Georgia in 2017 through an agreement reached with France when Tsulukiani served as Justice Minister.

Georgian Culture Minister asked the Ambassador for help in dispatching young Georgian architects and restoration specialists to work on the rehabilitation of cultural monuments in France.

According to the Press Service of Culture Ministry, Tsulukiani will hold meetings with local authorities and Georgian migrants in France.

The sides also spoke about Paris Book Fair, which was postponed several times due to the Covid pandemic and will take place in 2023. The French Embassy will help Georgia to participate in the cultural activity actively.
