Minibus drivers to rally

Drivers of municipal minibuses held a protest rally at the Akhmeteli subway station in Tbilisi.

They demanded the labour condition improvement and handing over the vehicles into private ownership as promised three years ago. Drivers pledge to hold large-scale protests if their demands are not met.

Opposition Strategy Aghmashenebeli party leader Giorgi Vashadze met the drivers earlier on Friday. He pledged support to the protesters.
