MIA detains citizen of Turkiye wanted by Interpol Red Notice in Marneuli

Officers of the Kvemo Kartli Police Department, part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), detained a citizen of Türkiye, born in 1986, who was wanted by Interpol under a Red Notice.

The individual was wanted by Turkiye from December 2025 for premeditated murder. He was detained in Marneuli through investigation measures.

Extradition procedures under the law are underway.
