MIA arrests two individuals on charges of illegal purchase, storage, and sale of narcotic drugs
Officers from the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) have arrested two individuals on suspicion of illegal purchase, storage, and sale of substantial quantities of narcotic drugs.
“Following a search of the suspects’ residence and vehicles, law enforcement officers recovered up to four litres of a liquid containing the narcotic substance “Alpha-PVP,” prepared for sale, along with sixteen packages of the same narcotic drug as evidence.
The investigation also uncovered materials necessary for packaging narcotics,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated.
The case is being pursued under Articles 260 and 260-4 of the Criminal Code, which carry penalties of up to twenty years’ imprisonment or life imprisonment.
