Anna Fotyga, member of the European Parliament from Poland demands an increase of the budget to the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) in Georgia.
“Concentration of Russian occupational forces and Ossetian formations at Chorchana village represent provocation and escalation threat. Firm international response is essential,” Fotyga wrote on the social network Twitter.
The Polish MEP initiated making of amendments into the 2020 EU budget.
Foreign Ministry of Georgia called on the international community to react adequately upon the developments at the occupational line near Chorchana village, Khashuri Municipality, and take measures to stop the illegal activities of the occupational regime.
