“We have already examined seven passengers, none of them has a fever,” Dr Nana Demuria told reporters. She explained that the passengers are being examined regarding the coronavirus.
“Symptoms may include cough, fever, a general feeling of being unwell. We should exemine passengers for any of these symptoms. If the passengers are experiencing symptoms, they will be taken to Tbilisi infectious hospital for further treatment,” the doctor said.
The passengers at Tbilisi International Airport are being examined through thermal screening and if anybody has the body temperature upper than 38 degrees, will be sent to the medical institution directly for further examination.
The Georgian Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from Occupied Territories, Health, Labor and Social Affairs stated that passengers from China are checked on coronavirus in accordance with the recommendations issued by the World Health Organizations to prevent the spread of the coronavirus the epicenter of which is the Chinese city of Wuhan.
