Mamuka Bakhtadze – Georgia’s rating in Doing Business report confirms that reforms successfully serve economic development
Georgia’s rating in Doing Business report of the World Bank confirms that the reforms, carried out by the Georgian government, successfully serve economic development of our country – Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze stated during the briefing held at Governmental Administration.
PM thus commented on Georgia’s ranking in the Ease of Doing Business 2019 among the 190 countries covered by the World Bank Group annual report where Georgia ranked the 6th place.
“The rating is a step forward with respect to Georgia’s integration into the world economy,” Bakhtadze stated. He said that Georgia was improving its position in the rating every year which meant that Georgia was an unconditional leader in the region and one of the reliable countries in the world.
Bakhtadze thanked representatives of the World Bank and all institutions which were involved in reaching such success. PM said he was sure that Georgia would further improve its standing in international ratings.
