Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze thanked the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini.

According to Mamuka Bakhtadze, Federica Mogherini’s statement that “Georgia is a close and important partner for the European Union” once again confirms that relations with the EU are at the highest level.

“We are grateful to a true friend of Georgia Federica Mogherini for her post, calling Georgia a close and important partner for the EU, which is a confirmation of EU-Georgia relations reaching a higher level and significance of Georgia for EU” – Mamuka Bakhtadze tweeted on his Twitter page.

High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy named the status of an honorable guest of Georgia at Frankfurt Book Fair as one of the major events of 2018. Mogherini wrote about in her article “Twelve things to bring with us in 2019” published on her web page.
