The majority of 44 recovered from COVID-19 patients are Georgian soldiers brought from Afghanistan – said Marina Ezugbaia, Medical Director of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases.
Georgia reported 14 new cases of novel coronavirus (covid-19), bringing the total number of infected people to 1264, according to StopCov.ge, special webpage created by the Georgian government.
The 44 more patients have recovered from the novel virus in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of cured patients up to 1 054.
