LSE hosts Georgian investment forum with over 180 delegates from global investment firms
“The London Stock Exchange (LSE) hosted the Georgian Investment Forum for the third consecutive time, providing a platform to review the investment climate Georgia offers to global investors,” stated Irakli Nadareishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.
“Over 180 delegates from various investment companies and groups participated in this year’s forum. We anticipate a productive and fruitful dialogue,” he added.
The Georgian delegation, led by First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili, included representatives from the National Bank of Georgia and the private sector.
During his address, Irakli Nadareishvili discussed streamlined procedures for doing business in Georgia and emphasised the country’s macroeconomic stability.
“The fact that over 60% of our investment portfolio is reinvested is yet another confirmation that investors view Georgia not only as a country with a stable economy but also as a promising platform for growth. This is precisely why we have convened in London for the third consecutive year—to engage with investors and share Georgia’s vast investment opportunities,” he stated.
