Electronic bracelets will be launched from the next year to control high-risk offenders – Director of the Human Rights Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia Londa Toloraia stated.

According to her, the tender procedures are underway to purchase bracelets.

In addition, legislative amendments are being done, since the introduction of electronic bracelets will require appropriate changes in the law.

At the first stage, we will get 100-150 bracelets – Londa Toloraia noted.
