Londa Toloraia appointed as Director of Department of Human Rights of MIA
Londa Toloraia has been appointed as the head of the new Department of Human Rights of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Londa Toloraia headed the supervision and strategic development department of the Prosecutor’s Office during years. In 2013-2016 she took the position of the head of the analytical department.
Maka Peradze was appointed as Deputy Director of Human Rights Department, who has been deputy director of the International Relations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs since 2017. For years, she worked on different positions in the same department. In 2016 she led the project of Ministry of Internal Affairs to promote the fight against domestic violence.
