Locals of Khurvaleti claim that situation is calm in the village

Locals of Khurvaleti village, which is adjacent to the occupational line, claim that that the situation is calm in the village; no Russians are present and problems are artificially created. “Spread the information that nothing is happening in Khurvaleti. We do not need journalists and peacekeepers here anymore,” locals said.

Luda Salia, Head of the Elderly House in Khurvaleti reported through the social network on March 15 that Russian soldiers were present on the territory controlled by the Georgian central authorities. Neither the State Security Service nor the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) in Georgia confirmed the information.
