Locals of Apakidze Street holding protest

Locals of Apakidze Street in Tbilisi are protesting over construction of a new block of apartments near #11 Apakidze Street.

Protesters claim that the new building will be only 4-5 meters away from their block of apartments and that the new construction will block the way to fire-fighting vehicles.

The construction works were stopped upon their protest during the mayoral duties of Davit Narmania but were resumed several days ago.

Locals of Apakidze Street demand that Tbilisi City Hall purchased the territory and arranged a square otherwise plan to file a lawsuit against Architecture Service.
