Local of Khurvaleti village released

Temo Khukhashvili, Georgian citizen and local of Khurvaleti village, which is adjacent to the occupied Tskhinvali region, detained by Russian soldiers have been released for the time being.

The occupational regime handed over the detainee to Georgian law enforcers at Ergneti checkpoint. The family paid the fine in return to his release.

Khukhashvili was pasturing the cattle when he was detained on June 5. He was placed at Tskhinvali pre-detention isolator. The European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) in Georgia was notified about the fact.
