Lithuanian President welcomes political consensus in Georgia

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda echoed the signing of the political agreement between the parties in Georgia sponsored by the European Council President Charles Michel on Twitter.

Gitanas Nauseda welcomes the achieved consensus between the political players.

“Welcome the achieved political consensus in Georgia. The EU, the European Council President and the US joint mediation efforts proved fruitful. Lithuania supports Georgia’s European aspirations and the strengthening of democratic values!” Lithuanian President tweeted.

Most of the Georgian political parties signed A way ahead for Georgia, a compromise document submitted to the parties by the European Council President Charles Michel, at the Orbeliani Palace on April 19.
