Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis believes Georgia should follow a path paved in democracy and the rule of law. He thinks deviating this path could pose a threat to the transatlantic track and the whole Eastern partners.
Gabrielius Landsbergis added that Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) would discuss Georgia and the future of the Eastern Partnership, events in Georgia.
“The EU has sent a very clear message that the Georgian path towards Europe, towards NATO, should be paved in the democracy and the rule of law. If Georgia will deviate from this path, that could threaten not only the transatlantic path for Georgia but also for the whole Eastern partners,” Lithuanian FM stated before the FAC meeting.
