Lithuania not to recognize legitimacy of Abkhazian so-called elections

“Lithuania does not recognize the legitimacy of the so-called ‘early presidential elections’ in Abkhazia, occupied region of Georgia,” reads the statement of Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to the statement, Lithuania reaffirms full support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

“Lithuania does not recognize the legitimacy of the so-called ‘early presidential elections’ in Abkhazia, occupied region of Georgia.

We reaffirm our full support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia,” reads the statement.

The occupied Abkhazia region holds so-called early presidential elections on February 15.
