Lithuania does not recognize legitimacy of “presidential elections” in occupied Tskhinvali

Lithuania does not recognize the legitimacy of the so-called presidential elections organized under the illegal occupation of the Tskhinvali/South Ossetia region of Georgia by the Russian Federation, the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry tweeted on Sunday.

The Ministry stressed its “strong support” for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia.
