Occupied Tskhinvali holds "presidential elections" today

The Russia-occupied Tskhinvali region is holding “presidential elections” today. Five candidates are running for the post of the head, including the current so-called president  Anatoly Bibilov, Nixas Party leader Alan Gagloev, former MP Dmitry Tasoev, MP Gary Muldarov, and Deputy Parliament Speaker Alexander Pliev.

76 polling stations will be open from 8 am to 8 pm.

Foreign observers from countries such as Russia, Austria, Venezuela, Syria, Italy, Turkey, and others are monitoring the so-called elections.

Georgia and most of the international community, including the U.S., EU, and OSCE do not recognize the vote.
