Ambassador of Lithuania to Georgia, Andrius Kalindra says Lithuania is working with its European counterparts to reach a consensus as the final decision on Georgia’s candidate country status is taken by many states unanimously.
“This is a very responsible moment to the European Union, to the European countries, EU people, Georgia, and the rest of the countries that are willing to accede the EU.
Lithuania, Vilnius is very much working with European colleagues in building up consensus because this decision will be going to take place by consensus.
There are many stakes on the table. We have two weeks more to work on it,” Kalindra stated.
