Lifting the movement restriction is not planned. Georgia cannot afford this luxury, Ekaterine Tikaradze, Georgian Health Minister told journalists in Ozurgeti, Guria region.
The Health Minister opened a new building of Emergency Situations Coordination and Aid Center in Ozurgeti.
She said the purpose of her visits to the regions was to inform the locals about the safety and benefits of Covid-19 vaccines.
Tikaradze delivered about the epidemiological situation in the region. She said all the recommendations must be followed to avoid the need to tighten the restrictions.
“The health of our population remains a priority amid the pandemic. We will make decisions based on this priority,” Ekaterine Tikaradze claimed.
