The Georgian Embassy in Germany sent a letter to the German Public TV Channel over the distorted TV story about the occupied region of Abkhazia.
“The Georgian Embassy in Germany reacted about the TV story aired by First Channel of German Public Broadcaster on July 21. The TV story “Abkhazia – descending by a rope on the Soviet ruins” contained distorted historical facts. The letter sent to the broadcaster’s management and author of the coverage underlined that the situation in the occupied region does not portray the actual reality,” reads the letter sent by the diplomatic mission.
