“Coalitions are established both before and after elections. The rest is up to each party to decide. We see that Ana Dolidze wants to develop her party independently, but we remain friends and partners,” said Badri Japaridze, a leader of the Lelo Party and the Strong Georgia coalition, commenting on Ana Dolidze’s decision to leave the coalition.

Japaridze was also asked to comment on reports suggesting that Ana Dolidze intended to run for Tbilisi Mayor, which purportedly led to her departure. He responded, calling it a “silly question” and adding, “This is a fabricated question; it has nothing to do with the truth.”

Regarding participation in the local elections, Japaridze stated that the Lelo Party plans to discuss its next steps with allies and partners “to ensure there is no space left for the Georgian Dream to operate unchallenged or without resistance.”

He assured reporters that they would be informed of any decisions first.

Ana Dolidze, leader of the For People party, has left the Strong Georgia coalition, asserting that her party will continue its activities independently.
