Mamuka Khazaradze, leader of the Lelo party, said that he was summoned to the interim parliamentary fact-finding commission, investigating activities of the 2003-2012 government and its officials, for the second time, but confirmed that he did not intend to attend the meeting.
Mamuka Khazaradze wrote on Facebook that he did not recognize the commission.
“I was summoned to the illegitimate commission of the illegitimate government once again with the same signal, and violation of law and the Constitution. I said it clearly that I do not recognize the commission and will not attend its meeting. I know you want to arrest me, but you will not scare me. The fight against the Russian regime will continue to the end,” he wrote.
Mamuka Khazaradze, the Lelo for Georgia party leader, has been granted bail of GEL 50,000 as a preventive measure by the Tbilisi City Court. Khazaradze paid the bail.
Khazaradze’s case was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office on March 25 due to his neglect to appear before the Parliament’s Interim Investigative Commission Studying the government and officials from 2003 to 2012.
