Legal Issues Committee to review foreign influence bill next Monday

The Legal Issues Committee of the Parliament of Georgia will review the draft Law on Transparency of Foreign Influence on 15 April, the Committee Chair Anri Okhanashvili told GPB First Channel.

The Bureau today discussed new legal initiatives, including the said draft. As Giorgi Volski, presiding over the Bureau sitting, stated, the parliamentary opposition submitted alternative bills initiated in two legal packages.

At the Bureau, the opposition MPs expressed their position to subject the basic and alternative drafts to the consideration of all Committees instead of the Legal Committee only.
