Bureau discusses consideration procedures of foreign influence bill and alternative bills

The Bureau on Monday discussed new legal initiatives, including the Draft Law by the faction Georgian Dream on Transparency of Foreign Influence, now under consideration by the Legal Issues Committee.

As Giorgi Volski, presiding over the Bureau sitting, stated, the parliamentary opposition submitted alternative bills initiated in two legal packages.

At the Bureau, the opposition MPs expressed their position to subject the basic and alternative drafts to the consideration of all Committees instead of the Legal Committee only.

As the Parliamentary Secretary of the President, Giorgi Mskhiladze noted, the Draft by the Georgian Dream should not be registered at the Bureau at all.

According to the Chair of the Legal Committee, Anri Okhanashvili, the Committee is discussing the Drafts on April 12.
