Kremlin claims holding dialogue with Belarusian opposition would be meddling in country's internal affairs
The Kremlin believes that holding a dialogue with the Belarusian opposition would be interference in the country’s internal affairs, stressed Dmitry Peskov, Kremlin Press Secretary.
According to Russian media outlets, Peskov said: “first of all, the dialogue should take place inside Belarus.”
Kremlin Press Secretary noted that “Russia is not going to meddle in the situation happening now in Belarus. External pressure on the current events in Belarus is inadmissible.”
However, the Kremlin spokesman added that the presidents of Russia and Belarus maintain constant telephone talks.
