Kobakhidze: Unfair campaign against Georgia continues with Moscow Mechanism; not of interest to us
“An unfair campaign has been waged against Georgia and the Georgian people for years. The launch of the Moscow Mechanism is a continuation of this,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists regarding the initiative.
According to Kobakhidze, the initiators are countries that have an inappropriate attitude towards the Georgian people.
“All these years, an unjust campaign has been directed against Georgia and its people, and this is simply a continuation. It’s clear that the countries behind this initiative hold unfavourable views of our nation. It is very sad, but we remain in a unilateral friendship regime with these countries. Since this is a continuation of the same line, it is of no interest to us,” he stated.
For reference, 24 OSCE countries have invoked the OSCE Moscow Mechanism in relation to Georgia, calling for the formation of an expert mission.
