Kobakhidze: Foreign agency aims to harm Georgia’s economy through coordinated effort; we must warn people who the enemy is

“The foreign agency, complete with its political parties, party activists, and media outlets, has a single goal: to somehow inflict damage on Georgia’s economy, and a fully coordinated effort is underway to achieve this,” stated Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze during a press briefing at the Government Administration.

According to the head of government, the public needs to know who the enemy is.

“The goal of this new wave is to stoke a campaign to achieve a specific outcome. The objective of the enemies and the foreign agency is to use this campaign to bring about, for instance, a halt to tourist flows to Georgia, the disruption of economic ties, and, ultimately, to deliver a blow to the Georgian economy,” noted Irakli Kobakhidze.
