“Georgian people wish for a more proportional electoral system, a more representative parliament, which requires cooperation from the parties,” said the US Ambassador to Georgia Kelly Degnan.

“Elections are approaching. There is a lot of political rhetoric, the bulk of statements. Any move that restricts choice or complicates the possibility of forming a formal coalition government after the elections is premature and does not help achieve the goal demanded by the Georgian people, a more proportional and highly representative parliament,” said Kelly Degnan.
