Justice Ministry: WB praises excellent cooperation with the National Agency of Public Registry
Deputy Minister of Justice, Lana Morgoshia, held a working meeting with representatives of the World Bank.
According to the Ministry of Justice, the discussion centred on the progress of the “Improving Land Administration Services and Creating Digital Governance Infrastructure” component of the “Sustainable Agriculture, Irrigation and Land” (GRAIL) project, funded by the World Bank, and the activities planned for 2026.
“The Deputy Minister of Justice provided the representatives of the financial institution with comprehensive details about the extensive work undertaken by the Georgian side within the framework of this programme. The World Bank representatives expressed high regard for their cooperation with the National Agency of the Public Registry, describing it as exemplary in project management and innovative development,” the Ministry of Justice stated.
The Ministry of Justice reported that the World Bank delegation is in Georgia to evaluate the progress of the ‘Sustainable Agriculture, Irrigation and Land’ Project.
“During their visit, the representatives also familiarised themselves with other innovations implemented by the National Agency of the Public Registry, such as the National Spatial Data Infrastructure Project; the multifunctional geoportal NSDI.GOV.GE; smart contracts; and more,” the Ministry of Justice of Georgia noted.
