Justice Minister leads delegation on official visit to South Korea to deepen digital governance ties

Georgian Minister of Justice Paata Salia is conducting high-level meetings in the Republic of Korea focused on digital innovation and the integration of electronic technologies in public administration.

“We will be holding a bilateral meeting with the South Korean Minister of the Interior and Safety, Yun Ho-jung. During the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding will be signed to establish a Digital Governance Cooperation Centre in Georgia. This will serve as an important platform for sharing innovation, experience, and expertise, and the centre will execute a range of key projects under this cooperative framework,” Paata Salia stated.

The delegation from the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, led by Paata Salia, is currently on an official visit to the Republic of Korea.

The delegation includes First Deputy Minister of Justice Beka Dzamashvili, Deputy Minister Tamar Zodelava, and Head of the Digital Governance Agency Sandro Tsirekidze.

The purpose of the visit is to further deepen bilateral cooperation between the two nations in digital governance.
