Georgian judoka Giorgi Sardalashvili secured a gold medal at the Sarajevo European Open 2026.
Sardalashvili, 23, competing in the 66 kg weight category, defeated German judoka Patrick Weisser in the finals.
Tornike Mosiashvili (73 kg) beat Serbian judoka Filip Jovanovic and won a bronze medal at the tournament.
The Georgian national team is competing in Sarajevo with four judokas; Irakli Beroshvili (81 kg) and Luka Maisuradze (90 kg) will compete on July 19.
