Journalist Nanuka Zhorzholiani reports her residence being searched by police
Investigation activities are currently taking place at the residence of journalist and Nanuka Fund founder Nanuka Zhorzholiani.
This morning, the journalist reported that officials from the Prosecutor’s Office had arrived at her residence and presented a search warrant.
“There is the point of waking up at 7 a.m. It was nearly 9 a.m. when ten individuals showed up, some in uniform and others in plain clothes. They are filling out some documents and preparing to search the apartment. Another person will be writing this post based on my message. They confiscated my cell phone, and I am waiting for my lawyer. I preferred that Saba go to school. They will not intimidate me. Fire to the oligarchy, fire to Gabitashvili (the General Prosecutor), and fire to the Russian government,” Nanuka Zhorzholiani posted on social media.
According to Zhorzholiani, the residences of other funds’ founders are also being searched.
