Joseph Borrell: OSCE considers parliamentary elections free and fair
“It is not up to me to decide whether new elections should be held in Georgia,” High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borell, stated during a press conference following the EU-Georgia Association Council on 16 March 2021.
Joseph Borrell stated that the OSCE considered the Georgian parliamentary elections to be free and fair in response to Georgian journalist’s question whether he admits new parliamentary elections could be a solution for a current political crisis in the country.
“It is not up to me to decide whether new elections should be held in Georgia. The only thing I can say is that the OSCE has considered these elections free and fair,” Joseph Borrell said.
