Jeanne Shaheen to continue efforts to pass MEGOBARI Act 

“After 200 days of the Georgian people’s brave protests, Georgian Dream’s tactics grow more craven,” wrote Senator Jeanne Shaheen, Senate Foreign Relations Committee member, on the X platform.

According to the U.S. Senator, she will continue efforts to achieve accountability by passing the MEGOBARI Act.

“After 200 days of the Georgian people’s brave protests, Georgian Dream’s tactics grow more craven. Giorgi Bachiashvili’s reported abduction is a blow to Georgian democracy. I’ll continue efforts to achieve accountability, like passing my bipartisan MEGOBARI Act,”  she said.
