Israeli Ambassador thanks those who stand with Israel, recognizing its right to defend itself

“We thank those who have stood with us in recognizing that Israel—like any other nation—has the right to defend itself against a persistent and concrete threat. We will continue to protect our citizens,” wrote Hadas Meitzad, Israeli Ambassador to Georgia on Facebook.

According to the Ambassador, a world without military nuclear capabilities in the hands of the world’s leading exporter of terrorism is a safer world for us all.

“Millions of Israeli citizens were forced to spend the night in shelters due to a massive and ongoing barrage of missiles launched by the regime in Tehran. Tragically, there are fatalities and injuries as a result of this deliberate attack targeting Israel’s civilian population.

Israel acted against Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, including military figures involved in advancing these dangerous capabilities. This operation followed alarming developments in recent months, some of which were clearly reflected in the latest report by the International Atomic Energy Agency, which warned of Iran’s accelerated nuclear progress.

The Tehran regime has made no effort to conceal its intentions—through words and actions—to harm the State of Israel and other nations in the free world.

A world without military nuclear capabilities in the hands of the world’s leading exporter of terrorism is a safer world for us all.

We thank those who have stood with us in recognizing that Israel—like any other nation—has the right to defend itself against a persistent and concrete threat. We will continue to protect our citizens,” she wrote.
