IRI President ready to support Georgian people's wish for democratic elections

“We are proud to be here to support the Georgian people’s wish to have democratic elections,” said Daniel Twining, President of the International Republican Institute (IRI).

According to Daniel Twining, the IRI observers will monitor the elections throughout Georgia.

The International Republican Institute (IRI) deployed its short-term observers (STOs) as part of its ongoing international election observation mission (IEOM) for Georgia’s October 26 parliamentary elections.

The full IRI mission is led by former U.S. Representative John Shimkus, Swedish Member of Parliament Margareta Cederfeldt, and IRI President Dr. Daniel Twining.

The 2024 parliamentary elections are held on October 26 in Georgia.
