IPRM session convened in Ergneti

The 130th meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) took place in the village of Ergneti, Gori Municipality, to address all notable incidents recorded in the occupied region and along the occupation line since the previous gathering.

According to the State Security Service of Georgia (SSSG), representatives of the SSSG once again reiterated their call for justice, demanding the punishment of those responsible for the murder of Georgian citizen Tamaz Ginturi.

“The central government delegates emphasised the ongoing issue of illegal detention of individuals and called for their immediate release,” the SSSG statement read.

A significant portion of the discussion centred on the restrictions imposed on free movement. Extensive deliberations were held regarding the regime at the so-called crossing points and the impact on local communities.

“The next meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism is scheduled for March 31, 2026,” the State Security Service concluded in a statement.
