The 5006 residence permits were issued to Georgian citizens in Greece in 2018 – Ioseb Nanobashvili, Georgian Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Greece said in his address to Georgian citizens living in Greece.

The Ambassador said in the address that the Embassy was actively cooperating with the Department of Migration Policy of Greek Interior Ministry to assist legalization of Georgian citizens’ presence in the country.

This included work to facilitate the issuance of residence permits and speeding up the process of discussion of Georgian citizens’ applications.
