Investigation Service Head Merab Gamkrelidze visits special forces base

The Head of the Investigation Service of the Georgian Ministry of Finance, Merab Gamkrelidze, accompanied by Deputy Head Davit Ardazishvili, visited the Special Forces unit’s tactical base to inspect operations and oversee a demonstration exercise.

As part of the tactical drills, unit personnel simulated high-risk special operations, manoeuvring field exercises, and live-fire scenarios. During the visit, Gamkrelidze was briefed on the unit’s operational capabilities, reviewed ongoing workflows, and inspected the fleet of service vehicles currently at their disposal.
