Indorama Corporation, a Singapore-based corporate group, entered the Georgian market, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development reported.

The company has been studying the Georgian investment environment and business opportunities for many years through the active participation of Produce in Georgia Agency.

Indorama Corporation manufactures polyethene, polypropylene, polyester fibre, Spandex filament, spun yarns, fabrics, and other products. It has over 160 plants in 38 counties and employs more than 45 000 people.

Indorama Corporation has recently bought the Rustavi Azot plant of nitrogenous fertilizers.
