The Georgian Orthodox Church celebrates the Easter holiday on 16 April.
The Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi held the Easter liturgy on Sunday, where the Holy Fire was bought from the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and the Cabinet members, Georgian Dream Chair, and Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze attended the liturgy.
