Mamuka Bakhtadze: I congratulate everyone on holding elections in a peaceful, free and democratic environment

Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze congratulates the population on holding elections in a peaceful, free and democratic environment.

The head of the government made this statement after publishing the results of the exit poll at the central office of the Georgian Dream party and thanked citizens for their active participation and high civic responsibility.

“According to results of exit poll, Salome Zurabishvili is confidently leading in the presidential elections. We should wait for the relevant procedures of the Central Election Commission, results of vote counting”, – Mamuka Bakhtadze said.

The Prime Minister thanked everyone, who was engaged in the elections organization activities, as well as international organizations and local observers for the work done during the election process.
