“NED (National Endowment for Democracy) has been exposed for undertaking undermining activities in many countries,” Rati Ionatamishvili, the parliamentary Human Rights Committee chairperson, stated.
According to Ionatamishvili, the organization primarily offended the United States and the merits of the American people, thereby tarnishing their reputation.
“Years ago, high officials of the US Department of State were worried about its activities. Unfortunately, at that time, no one was talking about it openly, except for us. I am glad this criticism is being heard from the highest level,” he said.
The National Endowment for Democracy (NED), a key U.S. non-governmental organization that supports grassroots freedom movements globally, is reportedly under scrutiny from Elon Musk’s new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
