Georgian Heath Ministry said that all beneficiaries involved in the state-funded program for management of diabetes are supplied with insulin, and denied the reports that there is no storage of the peptide hormone in the country.
According to the Health Ministry, insulin is supplied to every patient without obstacles.
“We clarify for the society that contracts with insulin supply companies have been signed, and stocks are systematically replenished. Beneficiaries can receive the required amount of the mentioned medicine. The relevant resolution does not provide for the provision of three months’ supplies,” the Ministry said.
