Health Minister to discuss Ninotsminda Boarding School at Patriarchate

We had a concluding meeting at the Patriarchate today. We discussed the problems related to Ninotsminda Boarding School, Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze said on Tuesday.

The meeting addressed all the plans related to large orphanages in Georgia.

“We discussed the problems of the Ninotsminda Boarding School. We also talked about the plans for the large orphanages in Georgia. We all believe that it is important to transfer children to small orphanages or their own families. This process needs much more support and involvement of all parties”, Minister said.

Health Minister noted that the safety of children in the Ninotsminda school is ensured at this stage.

“Psychologists and social workers are working with these children. Then, we will decide so that the best interests of our children be protected,” Minister said.
