Head of Tourism Administration hopes ITB Shanghai to be successful

In 2026, Georgia will be a partner country at ITB China, announced Maia Omiadze, head of the National Tourism Administration.

She highlighted Georgia’s successful hosting of the ITB Berlin event several years ago.

“Today, we signed a memorandum with ITB China, through which Georgia will become a partner country in 2026. China is one of our strategic markets. Last year, we participated in this event with great success for the private sector, which was reflected in the statistics. We have ongoing campaigns, last year and this year. We hosted ITB Berlin very successfully just a few years ago, and we hope that ITB Shanghai will be equally successful,” Omiadze stated.

Georgia will be represented as a partner country at ITB China 2026.
