Guram Palavandishvili will protest the screening of 'Comets' at Amirani Cinema

Guram Palavandishvili, along with several NGO representatives, will protest the screening of the movie ‘Comets’ at Amirani Cinema today.

As Guram Palavandishvili said at today’s briefing, the movie ‘Comets’ is Georgian product dedicated to the LGBTQ issues. He added that the film does not contain any sex scenes, however, its content is unacceptable.

We are going to Amirani Cinema at 19:00 today. We wanted to enter the building because after the screening of the film a meeting with the director is planned.

We wouldn’t watch the movie, but we would eat popcorn, sit down, have a coffee, and then attend the discussion.

There are no sex scenes in the plot of this movie, but there is propaganda that homosexuality is acceptable. Trought our rally, we send a protest to Ivanishvili and the government, who allowed it, as well as filmmakers and the participants,’ Guram Palavandishvili said.
